This thought from Seth Godin in his book “The Dip” might come in handy when you’re learning how to juggle 3 balls, and doing just about anything else in life, such as weight lifting or working on some other project:
Extraordinary benefits accrue to the tiny minority of people who are able to push just a tiny bit longer than most.
Sometimes, after I’m “done” with my juggling practice session, I think about this passage and then I put in some extra time. Usually, it feels like the most productive part of the session.
Mr. Godin says that “not quitting” isn’t enough. You also have to quit other things that might be holding you back.
